The list is organized into seven groups while retaining the original item numbers. Each entry shows only its name, URL, source-reported DR and essential notes. The final 11 entries are supporting tools, submission services or unconfirmed listings—not direct backlink directories. They remain for traceability, not as verified bulk-submission recommendations.
DR values come from the source dated November 1, 2026 and have not been refreshed in Ahrefs. DR is not a Google metric or a quality certification. Unverified prices and dofollow promises have been removed. Check current fees, eligibility, badge requirements and the final page’s link attributes before submitting.

Frequently asked questions
Are all 186 entries free and guaranteed to provide a backlink?
No. The collection includes launch platforms, communities, review sites, directories and supporting tools. Some require payment, approval, genuine experience or eligibility; others have no confirmed public submission route. Being able to submit, displaying a website address and obtaining a crawlable link are different outcomes.
Does a higher DR guarantee a better backlink?
No. Ahrefs DR is a relative measure of a domain’s backlink profile, not a Google ranking score. Consider topical relevance, the actual listing page, audience, editorial quality and spam risks. These DR figures are historical source values, not current ratings or a recommendation ranking.
How should I check dofollow and nofollow links?
“Dofollow” usually refers to an ordinary link without attributes such as nofollow or sponsored; it is not a required HTML attribute. Inspect the final destination, redirects and rel values, including nofollow, ugc or sponsored. Nofollow does not mean the page cannot be indexed or that the link has no exposure or referral value.
Should I add a reciprocal badge to obtain a link?
Review the terms rather than adding badges automatically. A genuine partnership is different from excessive link exchanges intended to manipulate rankings. Avoid arrangements centered on passing ranking credit, large-scale reciprocal linking or unrelated pages. Paid promotional links should use appropriate attributes such as sponsored or nofollow.
Why retain tools and submission services?
They preserve traceability to all 186 source entries while correcting the assumption that each is a direct backlink opportunity. AI Directories and SubmitSaaS are submission services, Needle is a social-listening tool, and Mydentify is a crawler checker. They are grouped separately. The source’s “Linguix” URL led to FinancesOnline; its name was corrected and the mismatched DR was omitted.
Which platforms should a new product shortlist first?
Start with product and audience fit, not DR alone. AI products can investigate relevant AI directories, developer tools can investigate technical communities, and design products can consider design showcases. Begin with a small relevant shortlist, complete the profiles and inspect actual listings and referrals before expanding.
Can I simply post ads on Dev.to, Hacker News or Reddit?
Do not treat communities as unrestricted link directories. Read platform and community rules, contribute complete and relevant information, and disclose product affiliations. Do not fabricate reviews, copy promotional posts at scale, buy votes or create artificial engagement through multiple accounts.
What if a submitted listing is not indexed by Google or Bing?
Confirm approval, public access and the presence of your website link, then check login restrictions, noindex directives and obvious technical issues. The platform and search engine control indexation; the submitter generally cannot guarantee it. Avoid duplicate profiles and paid “guaranteed indexing” claims.
Does a failed request, HTTP 403 or HTTP 429 prove a site is inactive?
No. A 403 may reflect access protection, a 429 commonly reflects rate limits, and a timeout may come from the network or checking environment. Later inspect the domain, homepage and submission route in a normal browser. Remove a channel from your execution shortlist only after confirming closure or unavailability. HTTP 200 alone does not establish submission eligibility.
Should I purchase paid listings or a submission service?
Paid submission is not a prerequisite. Confirm relevance and ask for target URLs, approval and refund terms, duplicate-submission handling and account permissions. The number of submissions is not the number of useful acquired backlinks. Do not buy links for the purpose of passing ranking credit.
Can these channels guarantee Google rankings or AI recommendations?
