People Also Ask can reveal question chains around selection, differences, fit, failure and troubleshooting. Do not merely copy a list. Review each question in its search-results context: which questions serve the same task, which represent the next decision stage and what page types currently appear. PAA results change, and each question does not deserve its own article. Combine a primary question with three to six closely related follow-ups when they share intent.
3. Find existing opportunities in Google Search Console
In Performance > Search results > Queries, filter for business-relevant terms with existing impressions. Candidates may include average positions 11–20, rising impressions with weak CTR, or several related questions leading to one page. Position 11–20 is a filter, not an automatic priority. A tool reporting Volume = 0 usually means it has no reportable estimate in that database, market or period—not that nobody asks the question. Full AI-search prompts can have many wording variations, each individually small. For a real, valuable problem, add an answer block to an existing page first, then observe impressions, visits and enquiries before expanding.
8. Build prompt research instead of renaming a keyword list
Prompt research captures the complete task: who is asking, in what situation, under which constraints, what they are comparing and what evidence they require. 'Free accounting software for nonprofits' combines audience, price and category. 'Xero or QuickBooks for a small team with no accounting experience' adds comparison, capability limits and onboarding concerns. Cluster questions before deciding on pages
'Is CRM suitable for small businesses?', 'CRM for startups' and 'CRM for a three-person sales team' may serve one small-team selection task—or require separate treatment when industry, compliance or budget changes the evidence. The test is not different wording; it is whether the required answer, evidence and next step are materially different. Combine shared intent into one topic page with sections for audience, size, price, free options, implementation and FAQs. Create a new URL only for a distinct comparison, pricing, troubleshooting or regulatory task.
Use an opportunity score to set priorities
